Technical posts, made worth clicking.
ScrapingBee is a web scraping API, and its blog covers topics most people never click on: proxies, headless browsers, parsing HTML. The writing is strong. The thumbnails had to keep up. A blog feed is a wall of small images, and a post only gets read if its thumbnail earns the click.
I designed a thumbnail system for the blog that makes dense topics easy to read at a glance. One shared layout, one clear focal point per post, and a consistent look so the feed reads as one publication instead of a pile of one-offs. Each thumbnail is built to hold up at small sizes, where most blog art falls apart. New posts can reuse the system without starting from scratch.
